The Gearheart – A Free Audiobook

Sonic Boom Auction Going on Right Now!

by on Feb.27, 2010, under News

Hey, everyone! This is Renee posting for Alex since he is currently in Macon, GA attending the Crossroads Writers’ Conference, where he’ll be reading an excerpt from The Gearheart today. He is internetless at the moment, so I’m filling in. We just wanted to make sure everyone knew the Sonic Boom auction is going on right now, right this VERY MOMENT, and you should all go check it out. It’s for a fellow podcaster, Tee Morris, who is a wonderful man, and spectacular entertainer. His wife passed away very suddenly and now he will be raising his five-year-old girl on his own.

There are dozens of items to bid on and the live video feed and chat is a BLAST to watch. There are a few podcasting stars making appearances, as well! For those of you that missed this morning, I got to see Phillipa Ballentine’s cleavage! You totally missed out. In case you’re interested in Alex’s items that he put up for bid, he has a Theme Song Package up for bid, in which he will compose a theme song just for you and your podcast up to seven minutes long. Well, I guess it doesn’t have to be just for your podcast. If you just want a song all about you and how awesome you are, I’m sure he could pull that off, as well. He also has a Graphic Design Logo Package up for bid as well in case you’re interested in a professional logo for your book, website, or what-have-you. You can make a proxy bid on either items at the links I just posted, or come to the live auction and join in on the fun. His items are in the “Bespoke Category” (which, for my fellow Americans that have never heard that word before, it just means “fancy custom made stuff”) which is scheduled to start bidding at 3 pm EST. You can see the full schedule here. Hope to see you there!

I picked up the Lost Gods and Zombie Astronauts books. I really wanted that Steampunk Quilt, but it rightfully went for a whole lot of pocket change. It was nice to see the Chip In total for SB go up. The show was entertaining as well. Thanks for all your contributions Alex and Co. It’s really appreciated.
